A LONGHORN BIG BLOCK?
Word circled before the Super DIRTcar Series season-opener at Albany-Saratoga Speedway on April 17 that Larry Wight might debut a new Big Block Modified with ties to Longhorn Chassis.
Both sides have been tight-lipped about the partnership, but here's what we know.
The details:
Larry Wight is working with Longhorn Chassis on the project
Wight debuted a car with Longhorn "input" at Albany-Saratoga
Longhorn has said the Northeast Modified space is intriguing, and they have dedicated resources to exploring it. But a definite entrance into the space is still being examined.
Nick Hoffman, who runs a Longhorn Chassis with the World of Outlaws, discussed this further on DIRTVision's Pit Bull.
Carson Macedo debuted the new Kistler-built Ford engine at Eagle Raceway with High Limit. But will we see it every weekend? Jeremy Elliott gives his thoughts.
"Hard to pick just one, so Attica, Wayne County, Atomic and Fremont it is 🤷♂️ good tracks, good people, good racing. What's not to like."

ALL DIRT COMMUNITY
Every newsletter, we showcase a reader's thoughts on what's happening in dirt racing.
This week's opinion comes from reader Steve Alexy:
"Something needs to be done about all the disrespect these young drivers are showing by just running over other drivers. They rather run through someone, then try to race them clean. It's ruining the sport and destroying equipment."
